My car is a 2015 Golf Sportwagen TDI, SEL trim, manual transmission.

The only things I’m going to put here are things I know work on my car.  They might work on other MK-VII VWs, but I haven’t tested.

What I’ve done

• 16" wheels (more comfortable, way cheaper tires)
• Turn off “comfort signal” three blink lane change feature
• Disable rain sensor / auto wipers
• Turn off “beep” when locking
• Turn off door auto-lock when driving
• Unlock all the doors when unlocking one
• Turn off door trim lights (that stripe below the window)
• Turn off Daytime Running Lights (add a clickbox in head unit)
• Tinkered with the power steering response (Couldn't get the settings to stick through restart)
• Tweaked the in-dash fuel economy display to match reality (in progress)
• Set the fog lights to flash with flashing, but not constant, high beam.
• Tow hitch
• Amber LED rear turn signals
• LED brake and running lights
• Enabled the two inner running lights as brake lights
• Factory jack pads (stop destroying the lip under the door sill!)
• Low profile rear headrests. Better visibility!
• Convex driver’s side mirror: No blind spots!
• “Cluster Staging” / “indicator celebration” (tach and speedo needles dance when first turned on)
• Show the fan speed when in “auto” mode.
• MIB-II radio upgrade (for Apple CarPlay) This is awesome!
• Make the radio stay on until the door is opened, (or longer), not just until the engine is stopped. <-- this is fixed by the MIB2 upgrade
• Remove in-motion lockouts for the radio/MIB/MFD/whatever
• Open or close all the windows and sunroof with the key fob (and door button?)
• Disable Car-Net so VW can't spy on me. (this is incomplete and untested)
• LED front turn signals. From a conspicuity perspective, this is an awesome upgrade.
• Audi TT front control arm rear bushings
• GTI springs
• Bilstein B6 dampers

What I’m working on or plan to do

• Tighten up steering response
• tweak accelerator response

Someday stuff, maybe

• Panzer plate (or similar)
• Limited Slip Differential
• Unibrace UBQ chassis brace.
• WhiteLine Lower Control Arm (for added caster)

• rear camera leak fix
